A manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks an HR professional to manage HR administration functions, including recruitment, payroll, and compliance with labor laws. The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. This position offers a chance to contribute to organizational growth and development.
1. Manage the full spectrum of HR administration functions, including recruitment and selection, payroll administration, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee training and development, and resignation procedures, in accordance with established SOPs and the Employee Handbook.
2. Responsible for all foreign workers administration functions, including application processes, hostel management, transportation, work permit renewal, check-out procedures, etc.
3. Monitor employee leave and attendance, conduct probationary reviews, and perform job appraisals for employment confirmation.
4. Liaise with relevant government authorities and agencies such as KWSP, PERKESO, LHDN, Immigration, Labor Office, MyEG, and FOMEMA to ensure compliance with HR statutory requirements.
5. Plan and organize company activities as needed.
6. Collaborate with Heads of Departments/Business Unit Heads on general HR matters, including employee grievances and counseling.
7. Ensure accurate and timely weekly HR reports to BUH and matrix reporting to the Senior Manager, HR & Corporate Services.
8. Be familiar with Malaysian Labour Law.
9. Possess a good personality and be people-oriented.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll and HR-related fields within a manufacturing environment, in a similar capacity.
- Excellent skills in Excel and reporting.
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of local labor laws, payroll systems, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Passionate about contributing to organizational growth and development.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Ability to commence work immediately is an advantage.
