about the job

We are seeking a hands-on HR Manager or Senior HR Executive to oversee the end-to-end Human Resource function, including full-cycle payroll processing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building a strong organizational culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring HR compliance aligned with Malaysian labor laws.


HR Strategy & Operations
  • Lead and manage the entire HR lifecycle – from manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, training & development, performance management, to exit processes.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals.

  • Advise management on organizational structure, succession planning, and workforce optimization.


Payroll & Compensation
  • Handle end-to-end monthly payroll processing using HR/payroll systems (e.g., SQL Payroll, InfoTech, etc.).

  • Ensure accurate computation of salaries, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, allowances, bonuses, and deductions.

  • Manage statutory contributions, tax submissions (e.g., Form EA/EA), and ensure timely reporting and compliance.

  • Coordinate with Finance on reconciliation and reporting of payroll costs.


Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Oversee talent acquisition efforts, job postings, interview coordination, offer letters, and new hire documentation.

  • Design and execute onboarding programs to enhance employee experience and retention.


Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters in line with labor laws.

  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and HR communications.


Training & Performance
  • Identify training needs, design L&D programs, and monitor effectiveness.

  • Manage performance appraisal cycles, KPIs, and feedback processes.


HR Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor law, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate timely HR reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 4-5 years of progressive HR experience.

  • Proven track record in end-to-end payroll processing and HR operations.

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR/payroll systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and problem-solving ability.


Preferred Skills:
  • HRDF/HRD Corp training familiarity

  • Experience in ISO, audit, or regulatory HR documentation.
