A leading company in Malaysia is searching for an HR Manager or Senior HR Executive to oversee the comprehensive HR function. We are seeking a hands-on HR Manager or Senior HR Executive to oversee the end-to-end Human Resource function, including full-cycle payroll processing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building a strong organizational culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring HR compliance aligned with Malaysian labor laws.
Lead and manage the entire HR lifecycle – from manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, training & development, performance management, to exit processes.
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals.
Advise management on organizational structure, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
Handle end-to-end monthly payroll processing using HR/payroll systems (e.g., SQL Payroll, InfoTech, etc.).
Ensure accurate computation of salaries, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, allowances, bonuses, and deductions.
Manage statutory contributions, tax submissions (e.g., Form EA/EA), and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
Coordinate with Finance on reconciliation and reporting of payroll costs.
Oversee talent acquisition efforts, job postings, interview coordination, offer letters, and new hire documentation.
Design and execute onboarding programs to enhance employee experience and retention.
Address and resolve employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters in line with labor laws.
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and HR communications.
Identify training needs, design L&D programs, and monitor effectiveness.
Manage performance appraisal cycles, KPIs, and feedback processes.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor law, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate employee records and generate timely HR reports for management review.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Minimum 4-5 years of progressive HR experience.
Proven track record in end-to-end payroll processing and HR operations.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR/payroll systems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
High level of confidentiality, integrity, and problem-solving ability.
HRDF/HRD Corp training familiarity
Experience in ISO, audit, or regulatory HR documentation.
