Overview

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of relevant HR initiatives and action plans, in addition to overseeing and managing day-to-day HR processes, including, but not limited to, employee relations, new hire onboarding, separations, HRIS administration, benefits program administration, and more.

The role will be the point person to lead and advise in matters relating to human resources, employment law, industry practices, and workplace rights, and will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources based in our US corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee general HR and Staffing functions in Malaysia
  • Provide expertise and knowledge in the statutory and industry practices/standards
  • Demonstrate experience in all employee life cycle phases, including recruiting and staffing, training and development, performance management, benefits and compensation, and succession planning
  • Participate in the development and implementation of international policies and procedures
  • Provide support to the group compliance audit and its related activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Human Resources Manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR laws and regulations, labor law and compliance in both countries.
  • Experience supporting HR infrastructure, programs, and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
  • Experience working in the technology industry/multinational organization preferred.
