Job description

The Human Resource (HR) Manager is accountable for formulating and executing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organisation’s overall direction. This role provides both strategic and operational HR support and guidance to stakeholders, while also delivering solutions that promote a positive, high-performance work culture, enhance employee engagement, and ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Act as a business partner to line managers on people-related matters.
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition and develop structured on-boarding programmes for new employees
  • Facilitate performance management processes and cultivate a positive, high-performance work culture
  • Support succession planning, talent and capability development initiatives to ensure a strong leadership pipeline and continuity in critical roles
  • Manage competitive compensation, benefits and employee wellbeing programmes to attract and retain top talents
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Facilitate the implementation and optimisation of HR systems and analytics to enable data-driven decision-making and enhance HR effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and alignment with company policies and procedures
