HR Manager cum HRBP Operations

Your Mission

Reporting directly to the HR & Admin Director, the successful candidate will be responsible in carrying out the Human Resource and Administration function of the company, taking into account both Group and local requirements. S/he will contribute actively as a member of the company middle management to achieve the company’s overall people objectives. S/he will also actively support by looking into the overall needs of the Total Operations Team from welfare, learning to organization structure and talent management. Finally, a Company will not stay resilience without a good and strong culture, hence s/he is to actively perpetuate Puratos Magic by demonstrating the group’s six Values and seven Principles..

What you will do

All HR Management aspects :

  • Involve in recruitment, selection, interview and preparation of orientation program, training & development program
  • Provide information on job inventories (job description, organisation structure, and salary scale)
  • Assisting in employee relation matters including monitoring staff disciplinary cases, conduct domestic inquiry and counselling, deal with various industrial relation matters, attend to labour office when required, etc.
  • Monitoring of employment status (probation & evaluation, confirmation record, promotion, contract for service) and maintaining confidential staff personal files.

As Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to Total Operations

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Develop strategies and methods for Total Operations long term success which includes reskilling and upskilling: identify training needs in aligning training programs with business objectives; workforce planning: ensure Total Operation’s workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future; and succession planning: select and develop key talent to ensure there are talents to fill in critical roles.

All HR Administration aspects:

  • Payroll preparation (white & blue collar, commission & incentive), annual increment & bonus preparation
  • Maintaining headcount database & report, HRDF payment & related issues
  • Maintaining human retention program include organising annual dinners & trips, staff birthday party, etc.
  • Controlling of workers uniform lockers
  • Maintenance of office equipment & machineries at top working state and renovation works
  • Application and renewal of licences from authorities such DBKL, DOSH, FMM, MEF, etc
  • Working with supplier to ensure proper free breakfast for employees on every Monday and Friday (except holiday)
  • Ensure all Company assets are properly tagged and in working condition.

Others:

  • Updating all necessary employees and movement info at local HR2000 system and the relevant data files.
  • Ensure all employees are covered with Group Term Life as well as enjoying the company’s Medical & Hospitalization benefits (including spouse and children where eligible).
  • Ensure statutory requirements are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintaining the intranet in the company for all HR & Administrative related forms & procedures
  • Ensure that office requirements are fulfilled at all time and that the company rules and regulations are being followed
  • Assist in preparing yearly budget expenses for both departments
  • Promote safe and healthy working environment within the company
  • Fully support and implement GMP, HACCP, FSSC22000, HALAL, Golden Unicorn and other systems by the company.

What we expect from you

  • Minimum diploma / Degree in HR, Business Administration or other related field.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in HR with 2 years in a similar capacity or via internal promotion.
  • Understanding local labour law is a MUST.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia. Other dialect is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Assets Management is an added advantage.
  • Pleasant personality and easily likable (extrovert personality)
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and develop people. A visible team player.
  • Pro-active, enthusiastic and able to work independently.
  • Passionate in understanding and counselling employees various challenges.
