Description
The HR Manager will act as a focal point between local management and all local employees. He/she will serve as an Internal & external representative of Malaysia Human Resource department, responsible for managing, directing and coordinating HR activities within Malaysia to maximize the strategic use of human resources in the organization in line and close cooperation with the regional HR of Shipco.

What You'll Do...
  • Manage full spectrum of operational HR activities (Recruitment, Payroll, Training & Development) for Malaysia.
  • Supports organizational development by driving corporate & regional HR strategy.
  • Drives and coordinates regional roll-out of HR policies, standards/guidelines, processes, and tools. and ensure full implementation in Malaysia.
  • Drive personnel development as well as career and succession planning.
  • Support the regional & local management in manpower planning and budgeting process.
  • Handle employee grievance, resolving conflicts, settling disputes, and administering disciplinary procedures for the country.
  • Ensure HR compliance with local statutory regulations.
  • Participate and support regional HR in projects development
  • HR system owner for Malaysia.
  • Responsible for HR reports.

What You'll Need...
  • At least 5 year(s) of HR work experience in full spectrum of HR function.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysia employment laws and practices
  • Good knowledge of HR/personnel practices and principles
  • Highly meticulous, strong problem-solving skills, organized and able to work independently
  • Able to work under tight timelines and perform multiple tasks accurately
  • Proficient in MS Office (specially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Success Factors knowledge would be an added advantage.
  • Highly adaptable, solid integrity and a team player
  • Ability to build good relationships with key stakeholders and internal staff
