A leading company in property development seeks a Human Resources Manager to oversee recruitment, onboarding, and compliance with HR policies. 1. Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts;
2. Conduct orientation for new employees by sharing onboarding packages;
3. Handle staff disciplinary issues;
4. Liaise with the labour office and Industry Relations Department as needed;
5. Complete termination paperwork and conduct exit interviews;
6. Handle internal and external inquiries related to HR;
7. Support and coordinate HR-related training programs, seminars, and workshops;
8. Oversee HR events and meetings, and coordinate management-employee communications;
9. Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures;
10. Prepare reports and presentations, and determine effective communication channels;
11. Source, compare, and recommend Staff Group Insurance options;
12. Draft memos and letters;
13. Verify and approve payments;
14. Maintain accurate employee records in both hard and soft copies;
15. Prepare and present the annual budget;
16. Continuously research best HR practices to improve the workplace environment.
Responsibilities – Office Admin Division
1. Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies;
2. Manage office supplies inventory;
3. Manage phone calls and correspondence;
4. Prepare presentations and proposals as assigned and submit reports timely;
5. Drive office cost-saving initiatives;
6. Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM and a Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline;
- At least 5 years of experience as HR Manager in a medium-scale corporate office;
- Well-versed in the Employment Act;
- Pleasant disposition;
- Good command of English, Chinese, and Bahasa, both written and verbal; ability to converse in local dialects is an advantage;
- Knowledge of payroll systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
