About the role
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team at Hittech Wemac Sdn Bhd in Batu Kawan, Penang. As HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and compensation and benefits. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies and policies to support the company's business objectives
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding
  • Oversee employee relations, including addressing grievances, disciplinary matters, and other HR-related issues
  • Design and deliver training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address staffing needs
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Contribute to the development of a positive, engaged, and productive company culture

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HR management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and the ability to apply them in a practical and effective manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Proficient in HR data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and regulations
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • IHRM or MIHRM certification would be an advantage
