Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle and partner with stakeholders to enhance an engaging employee experience. You will manage day-to-day HR operations, support recruitment, payroll and compliance, and contribute to HR-related projects.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in HR, 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, and solid knowledge of Malaysian employment laws. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of HR generalist experience.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HRIS and/or payroll systems.
• Well organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle matters.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, onboarding, confirmation, transfer, promotion and employee separation processes.
• Support payroll administration, compensation exercises and statutory compliance requirements.
• Handle employee relations and disciplinary matters, including employee counselling and preparation of relevant documentation.
• Coordinate performance management and learning & development activities, including training needs, programme administration and HRD Corp matters.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and line managers on HR policies, procedures and employment-related matters.
• Prepare HR reports, maintain accurate employee records and support internal audits and management reporting.
• Support HR projects, policy implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
