A leading company is seeking an HR Executive specialized in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations. This role involves managing core HR functions including recruitment, payroll, compliance, and addressing staff grievances, while ensuring adherence to Malaysian labour laws. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with relevant qualifications and experience in HR.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR Executive with strong knowledge in Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER). This role will oversee core HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, and compliance, while being the primary point of contact for handling disciplinary issues, staff grievances, and labour law compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
· Handle misconduct, disciplinary actions, and grievance cases.
· Provide guidance on labour law compliance (Employment Act, IR Act).
· Draft and issue HR letters (warnings, confirmations, terminations, etc.).
· Liaise with authorities and support IR investigations.
General HR Functions
· Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
· Administer payroll, staff claims, and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF).
· Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records.
· Support training, performance reviews, and employee engagement activities.
· Assist in HR policy implementation and compliance monitoring.
· Prepare HR reports, correspondences, and documentation.
Administration
· Manage office administrative tasks and coordination when required.
· Maintain organized filing and documentation systems.
Requirements
· Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR, with hands-on IR/ER exposure.
· Strong understanding of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices.
· Excellent communication skills in English (Mandarin and Malay preferred). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); HR software knowledge is an advantage.
· Able to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
