Job description

We are looking for a dynamic HR Executive / HR Generalist to drive strategic HR initiatives in the fast-paced Web3 ecosystem. This role requires a proactive HR professional who understands the unique challenges of a decentralized and tech-driven environment. You will act as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring that HR strategies align with business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring the company’s success in the Web3 space.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on organizational structure, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Support leadership in driving company culture, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Partner with hiring managers to design and implement hiring strategies tailored to the Web3 industry.
  • Ensure a strong pipeline of blockchain and crypto talent, leveraging industry networks and recruitment channels.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the organization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Implement performance review cycles, career development programs, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to design competitive compensation structures, including token incentives, staking rewards, and equity-based compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global regulations in decentralized teams.
  • Monitor trends in salary and benefits within the blockchain/crypto industry to ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop and execute HR policies tailored to remote and decentralized work environments.
  • Champion employee wellness initiatives and engagement programs suited for Web3 professionals.
  • Organize team-building events, virtual meetups, and off-site retreats to enhance collaboration across time zones.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years in HR, HR Generalist, or similar roles, preferably in blockchain, crypto, fintech, or tech startups.
  • Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period.
  • We encourage applications from candidates of all nationalities who have experience in Web3 and a strong understanding of the Chinese market. Candidates who are familiar with the living and business environment in China are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Web3, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and the evolving blockchain space.
  • Ability to align HR initiatives with business goals in a dynamic and decentralized environment.
  • Proven track record in employee relations, talent development, and engagement.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first, fast-paced environment with global teams.
  • Knowledge of employment laws across different jurisdictions, particularly in remote work setups.
