Job summary

A leading HR solutions provider in Petaling Jaya seeks a Human Resources Executive to manage payroll processing and support HR operations. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, handling statutory submissions, and facilitating employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of HR experience, a relevant degree, and familiarity with Malaysian labor laws.

Qualifications

Overview

Ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing using the company’s HRMS system.

Maintain and update payroll data and employee records in the HRMS (e.g., leave balances, claims, allowances, deductions).

Handle payroll-related matters such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, CP22, CP22A, and other statutory submissions and reports.

Prepare pay slips, EA forms, and annual income tax reports in compliance with Malaysian employment law.

Coordinate with Finance for month-end payroll reconciliation and internal reporting.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including CP22/CP22A submissions, documentations, and induction planning.

Maintain and organize HR documents including employment contracts, confirmation letters, and staff files.

Assist in executing KPIs and performance review processes.

Provide administrative support in employee movements (transfers, promotions, contract renewals).

Ensure up-to-date employee data management and confidentiality.

Assist in recruitment and scheduling interviews for various departments.

Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal communication activities.

Support basic Industrial Relations tasks and assist in disciplinary documentation where necessary.

Facilitate basic training and development logistics.

Handle other ad hoc HR-related tasks and projects as assigned by the Head of HR.

What you'll need
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of HR experience, particularly with payroll and HR systems (HRMS).
  • Familiar with Malaysian labor law and statutory requirements.
  • Detail-oriented, confidential, and highly organized.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
