A leading manufacturer in the hearing aid sector seeks an HR Executive for a 6-month contract. The role involves developing HR policies, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree and be familiar with Malaysian labor laws and payroll systems to effectively handle personnel processing and statutory requirements.
Develops human resources policies and procedures for C&B; administrates human resources policies related to payroll and salary administration.
Computes monthly payroll for both DL & IDL, including 13th month pay and STI.
Participates in position evaluation, salary and benefits surveys.
Ensures all employment payments comply with labor laws and regulations.
Handles personnel processing and filing.
Submits statutory reports and makes payments.
Prepares salary change letters.
Participates in Mercer surveys, if applicable.
Handles income tax affairs for expatriates, files yearly wage info with the Income Revenue Board, and prepares the Annual Employment Income Statement (EA Form).
Monitors time attendance records.
Manages leave.
Verifies overtime hours.
Checks monthly reimbursement claims.
Liaises with foreign workers agents on outsourced payroll.
Prepares input for C&B budget and conducts market comparison studies.
Ensures adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures within the scope of responsibilities.
Performs other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Diploma/Degree holder.
Familiar with Malaysian labor law.
Basic understanding of C&B concepts.
Knowledge in designing pay structures and benefit packages.
Experience with payroll systems, preferably Boss.net & Flex e-payroll.
High sense of responsibility.
Analytical, detail-oriented with numbers.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
