Job summary

A leading company in the safety equipment industry is seeking an HR Generalist to support the HR Manager with various operational tasks. The ideal candidate will manage payroll, recruitment, and training activities ensuring smooth HR operations. Candidates with a Diploma/Degree and relevant experience in a manufacturing setting are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in HR Management, Business Studies, or related fields.
  • 2 years HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Employment Act and related laws is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR Manager in all HR functions.
  • Manage recruitment, payroll, and employee records.
  • Conduct Orientation & Induction Training.

Skills

Job description

Basic Job Purpose

Provide support to HR Manager in all aspects related to Human Resources function.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Report to the HR Manager.
  • Deliver day-to-day HR operations role as a HR Generalist.
  • Provide consistent support functions on overall payroll administration, recruitment, maintain/update employees personal files, performance appraisal, training, confirmation, staff disciplinary and etc.
  • Execute recruitment including job placing, advertisement, resume screening, candidate shortlisting.
  • Prepare the documents according to employment kit/induction list.
  • To conduct Orientation & Induction Training for new employee.
  • Maintain, update, and file of employment records. Ensure various personnel records are up to date. To issue medical chit to those require medical treatment, to monitor and update regularly medical expenses and to highlight any abnormal high of medical expenses.
  • Update employees’ attendance, over time and leave reports including computations for payroll. Accountable for processing monthly payroll (salary payments, statutory payments) and verifying payroll administration.
  • Liaison with related statutory government and private agencies when is necessary.
  • Prepare canteen coupon early in the month.
  • Perform others duties as instructed by the Management from time to time.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma / Degree in HR Management, Business Studies, General Administration or other related fields.
  • Preferably with 2 years of working experience as a HR Generalist in manufacturing environment. Experience in handling foreign workers management.
  • Good computer literacy (in MS Office Application - Word, Excel, Power Point) and knowledge in payroll system.
  • Good understanding of Employment Act and Amendment 2022, Workers' Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act, SOCSO Act and EPF Act will be advantages.
  • Willing to travel as and when necessary.
  • Be able to work in Subang Jaya.
  • Possess own transport


Output

  • Recruitment – get replacement/new position in the timeframe
  • Ensure payroll complete in the timeframe
  • Payment on time – Contract worker salary
