A growing distribution company in Malaysia seeks an HR Executive to manage recruitment, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with HR policies. Ideal candidates should have a degree in HR or related field and 1-2 years of HR experience. As our HR Executive, you’ll play a vital role in shaping a thriving workplace culture. If you’re passionate about creating impact, streamlining processes, and championing employee success, this is your stage.
1. Talent Acquisition
Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: from crafting job ads to onboarding new team members.
Proactively source top talent using advanced tools and industry-leading platforms.
Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and align hiring strategies with business growth.
2. Employee Experience & Engagement
Be the trusted HR point of contact across all companies in the group.
Champion engagement initiatives that build morale, increase retention, and create a strong sense of belonging.
Drive employee feedback loops and spearhead internal communication efforts.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure seamless monthly payroll in collaboration with Finance.
Administer benefits, leave tracking, and personnel documentation.
Keep HR policies and practices aligned with Malaysian labor law and HR best practices.
4. Performance & Development
Coordinate performance reviews, probation confirmations, and career development initiatives.
Recognize and celebrate employee milestones, efforts, and excellence.
Support leadership in shaping a high-performance culture.
A confident and empathetic HR professional with strong interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling HR across multiple business units.
Self-driven and resilient, you anticipate needs and act on them.
Adaptable, with a mindset for continuous improvement and process refinement.
Degree or Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 1–2 years of HR generalist experience; prior exposure to multi-company setups is a plus.
Solid knowledge Malaysia’s Employment Act Law 1955 and HR compliance.
Certified HR credentials (eg; MIHRM, SHRM, CHRP) are advantageous.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency (is a strong plus).
