About The Role

This position will be based in our Malaysia office located in Mid Valley, KL.

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent HR Executive to drive our Talent Acquisition and HR Operations initiatives.

You will be proactively sourcing and engaging top talent while maintaining a strong candidate pipeline for key roles. This role involves close collaboration with HR Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure recruitment efforts align with the organization's strategic goals.

What You Will Do

  1. Talent Acquisition
    1. Candidate Outreach
      • Proactively source and engage potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and referrals.
      • Build and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates to support ongoing and future hiring needs.
    2. Pipeline Management
      • Continuously build and manage talent pipelines for high-priority or frequently recruited roles (evergreen positions).
      • Ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates to meet organisational demand and reduce time-to-fill metrics.
    3. Job Posting Management
      • Create, update, and maintain job postings across all relevant platforms.
      • Ensure job descriptions are accurate, appealing, and reflective of current role requirements and organisational needs.
    4. Stakeholder Collaboration and Coordination
      • Partner with HR Partners (HRPs) and/or Hiring Managers to understand current and upcoming hiring needs.
      • Align on role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and recruitment timelines to ensure efficient and targeted talent acquisition efforts.
      • Schedule prescreening sessions for HRP.
    5. Reporting and Metrics
      • Track recruitment activities and key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, pipeline health) to inform continuous improvement of recruitment strategies.
  2. HR Operations
    1. Employee Engagement & Culture Initiatives
      • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of employee engagement activities.
      • Support the development and implementation of initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
      • Coordinate internal communication related to engagement activities, events, and surveys.
      • Collect and analyze employee feedback to support continuous improvement in engagement programs.
      • Help organize company events, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
      • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the organization.
      • Maintain documentation and reports related to engagement and culture initiatives.
    2. General HR Operations Support
      • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies.
      • Assist in HR reporting and data analysis related to talent and engagement metrics.
      • Support onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with other HR team members.
      • Any other ad-hoc duties.
The Successful Candidate Should Have

  • At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, either in-house or within an agency environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources / Psychology / Business.
  • Ability to effectively manage a high volume of roles across different functional areas.
  • Experience working in the media industry is highly advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
