Job summary

A leading company in Malaysia seeks a Human Resource Executive to manage recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee records while ensuring compliance with local labor laws. Coordinate and support the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

Prepare employment contracts and facilitate smooth onboarding of new hires.

Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation.

Ensure proper filing of contracts, leave records, and HR-related documentation in compliance with local labor laws.

Assist with payroll preparation and ensure timely processing of salaries.

Administer employee benefits programs including medical, insurance, and leave entitlements.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal company policies.

Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Support initiatives to promote a positive work environment and company culture.

Address employee inquiries, grievances, and provide support in conflict resolution when needed.

Coordinate the performance appraisal process and maintain related records.

Track probation evaluations and support managers in performance discussions.

Prepare regular reports on HR metrics such as staff turnover, absenteeism, and training hours.

Provide data-driven insights to support HR planning and strategy.

Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

Proven experience in an administrative and/or HR role.

Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
