Job description

The Contractor HR Support/Executive ensures the smooth integration, compliance, and engagement of contractors throughout their lifecycle. This role directly impacts operational excellence, contractor satisfaction, and retention.

Responsibilities
  1. Onboarding:
    • Manage end-to-end contractor onboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is collected and verified.
    • Conduct orientation sessions and guide contractors through onboarding systems and workflows.
    • Ensure all contracts, agreements, and work-related documents are signed and filed accurately.
  2. Compliance:
    • Verify contractor eligibility for assignments, including work permits (if applicable), certifications, and background checks.
    • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and client-specific compliance requirements.
    • Monitor and address ongoing compliance issues, such as expiring documents.
  3. Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for contractors throughout their assignment.
    • Address contractor inquiries and concerns regarding contracts, benefits, and work conditions.
    • Conduct regular check-ins to ensure contractor satisfaction and resolve any challenges.
  4. Retention & Redeployment:
    • Maintain and update a database of contractor profiles, skills, and availability for future assignments.
    • Support redeployment efforts by matching contractors to new roles as assignments end.
    • Track and report contractor feedback to improve processes and satisfaction.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Payroll & Benefits Specialists to address payroll-related issues.
    • Coordinate with the Partner & Vendor Manager for external EOR partner-related tasks.
Skills
  • 2 – 3 years of working experience in the HR function or related industry.
  • Familiarity with contractor onboarding processes, local labour laws, and compliance requirements is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with contractors and resolve issues.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple onboarding and engagement processes simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English language and writing.
  • Attention to detail for compliance and documentation management.
  • Effective contractor concern resolution and prioritization skills.
  • Efficiency in managing contractor onboarding processes.
  • Overtime may be required during payroll peak periods.
