Job description

Maintain HR operational documents such as the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Guidelines, Service Agreements, and Contracts of Employment.

  1. Handle recruitment activities including screening, shortlisting, interviewing, selection, offering, and preparing/signing contracts.
  2. Manage recruitment of foreign workers, including dealings with agents and KDN.
  3. Coordinate onboarding and induction activities.
  4. Oversee off-boarding processes.
  5. Manage HR operations such as maintaining personal files and records, verifying payroll, tracking service confirmations and contract expiries.
  6. Administer holiday calendars and leave balances.
  7. Support employee engagement initiatives within the company.
  8. Assist in preparing monthly management manpower reports.
  9. Conduct data analysis for manpower indicators to aid management decision-making.
  10. Ensure compliance with all government regulations.
  11. Assist with any other assigned tasks.
Function – Specific Activities
  1. Perform HR master data updates in compliance with data privacy and service standards.
  2. Support the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to off-boarding.
  3. Respond to internal and external information requests.
  4. Support report delivery within scope.
  5. Participate in HR activities such as annual compensation review, talent management, and FAB projects.
  6. Review salary bands and benefits, providing recommendations.
  7. Measure employee retention and turnover rates.
  8. Stay updated with Malaysian labor laws and government recommendations.
People Management Activities
  1. Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR team.
  2. Implement effective sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques.
  3. Address employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations.
  4. Recommend employee relations practices to foster positive employer-employee relationships and high morale.
  5. Manage medical claims and clearances for employees.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least a diploma or degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant HR experience. They must be well-versed in Malaysian labor laws, capable of multitasking, confident, meticulous, and possess excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders, including senior management. Willing to work in Simpang Pertang.
