A leading vaping company in Sabah is seeking a skilled HR Executive to enhance manpower management and HR strategies. The successful candidate will possess a diploma in HR or equivalent, a year of relevant experience, and fluency in multiple languages. Responsibilities include managing recruitment, overseeing payroll, and developing HR initiatives to support business needs, within a dynamic environment dedicated to innovative product delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing HR operations within a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee payroll processing and manage recruitment and selection domestically.
  • Implement HR records management and drive high performance through a performance appraisal system.

Job description

We are a leading vaping company with over 20 branches across Sabah, looking for a skilled and proactive HR Executive to join our growing team. As the HR Executive, you will play a vital role in managing manpower, developing HR strategies, and ensuring the overall well-being and performance of our employees. The ideal candidate should possess at least a Diploma or higher in Human Resource Management or equivalent, along with a minimum of 1 years of relevant working experience. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication within our diverse team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process domestically to attract top talent.
  • Oversee and ensure payroll processing is done accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Prepare overhead budget and manpower planning to optimize resource allocation.
  • Implement HR records management, including attendance records, leave administration, disciplinary issues, and staff welfare programs.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and fosters employee development.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in managing HR operations within a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in Sabah and Malaysia.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Experience in implementing employee training and development programs to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
