Job description

Assist in the recruitment process for all positions (bakers, chefs, front-of-house staff, and management) across all outlets, including posting job ads, screening candidates, conduct initial interviews, and schedule follow-up interviews.

Manage the onboarding process for new hires including documentation, orientation, and training schedules for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

Maintain accurate confidential employee records, including personal information, contracts, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, etc.

Assist in resolving employee issues or conflicts in a professional and timely manner.

Support the creation and implementation of employee engagement programs to promote a positive work culture.

Ensure all HR documentation and practices complies with local labor laws, industry regulations and company policies.

Coordinate training sessions for new and existing employees, ensuring they are well-equipped for their roles.

Assist in identifying training needs and tracking employee progress.

Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR-related inquiries and concerns, and handle internal communication between outlets and HR department.

Support the management team in addressing employee concerns and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Process payroll for all four outlets ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintain attendance records, track leave balances, and ensure proper deductions.

Prepare HR-related reports and documentation for management review.

Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave entitlements, and other perks.

Coordinate training programs for staff development, including skills development, customer service, and safety training.

Maintain training records and ensure all employees are up-to-date with required certifications and training programs, and provide support in setting up employee goals and development plans.

Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and training compliance.

Assist in the performance appraisal process, including scheduling performance reviews and tracking progress.

Assist in ensuring that all outlets meet workplace safety standards and support the HR Manager in managing health and safety initiatives, ensuring employees are aware of workplace safety guidelines and procedures.

Support the HR Manager with various administrative duties as required.

Participate in the development of HR policies and initiatives that align with the company's growth and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in the retail or foodservice industry.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Strong understanding of HR processes and employment laws.

Knowledge of payroll systems and HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll software) is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
