Overview
We are seeking a versatile and proactive HR Executive to join our Human Resources team. This role will have a dual focus, primarily driving our training and development initiatives while also contributing to a broad range of general HR functions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee growth, possess a strong understanding of HR best practices, and be capable of managing diverse responsibilities within a dynamic environment.
JOB DUTIES
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems. Assist with HR-related administrative tasks, such as processing paperwork, generating reports, and managing HR-related documentation
- Training & Development: Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules that address identified needs in alignment with Decathlon United, local business unit and HRDF.
- Training Needs Analysis: Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify current and future training and development needs across the organization. Conduct assessments to pinpoint skill gaps and development opportunities
- Compensation & Benefits: Assist with the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including payroll information (absences, bonus, leaves, night shift, public holiday, etc), benefits enrollment, and responding to employee inquiries
- Employee Engagement: Participate in initiatives to foster a positive and engaging work environment. Support employee engagement surveys and action planning. Ensure employee relations remain healthy and that a constructive and positive work environment is nurtured throughout the company
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Assist in resolving employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner, escalating complex matters as needed
- HR Policies & Procedures: Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with the recruitment process, including organizing the career fair or recruitment activities. Manage the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth and positive experience
- Employee Development Initiatives: Support the implementation of employee development programs, such as IM, mentoring, career pathing, and performance management related development plans.
- Dealing with external manpower agencies: In cases for additional temporary manpower for the operation, including sourcing, contract, arrangement of manpower, attendance, and payment follow up
- Coordinate HR projects: Meetings, training, surveys etc
- Any ad hoc tasks as needed
Profile
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma in HR with 2 years experience or Degree in HR with at least 1 year of working experience. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Malaysia Employment Act 1955 and Malaysia regulations
- Working knowledge of employment law, HR functions and HR best practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of computer applications and HRIS/software
