Job summary
A leading company in the technology sector is seeking a Human Resources and Finance professional responsible for managing recruitment, payroll processes, compliance with labor laws, and supporting management in various financial tasks. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in HR, Accounting, or related fields with 3-5 years of relevant experience, as well as proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Job Responsibilities
- Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process
- Orienting new employees and training existing employees
- Assisting management with the recruitment process
- Assisting payroll: managing attendance, OT calculation, and all statutory submissions (e.g., EPF & SOCSO)
- Monitoring employee performance (KPI)
- Organizing and handling company events
- Supporting management in ISO compliance
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping of employee information (electronic and digital)
- Staying updated on labor laws and regulations
- Managing procurement requirements for new clients, including filling forms and providing SSM documents
- Liaising with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary, and other professionals
- Monitoring staff claim forms for proper submission
- Ensuring timely payment of bills, statements, CP204, and loan repayments
- Processing monthly reimbursements for clients
- Reviewing participant transaction requests from Customer Service
- Ensuring payment requests are fulfilled and providing payment slips if needed
- Recording monthly credit card statements in accounts
- Monitoring flexi-loan balances and redraw amounts
- Overseeing loan procedures if applicable
- Managing foreign currency payments
- Liaising with the Company Secretary as needed
- Preparing bi-monthly SST submissions
- Preparing half-yearly Withholding Tax submissions
- Preparing tax estimations and revising CP204 if needed
- Preparing financial statements such as Event P&L, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet
- Maintaining organized document filing
- Checking financial records for updates
- Developing and implementing financial policies to improve efficiency
- Managing Finance Executives and prioritizing team tasks
Job Requirements
- Language proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HR and/or finance roles
- Knowledge of HR functions including recruitment, payroll, leave management, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
- Familiarity with Malaysian Labor Laws and HR best practices
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation
- Experience with HRMS or accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, QuickBooks, payroll systems)
