Job summary

Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Perform tasks assigned by the Manager.
  • Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees up-to-date. (Attendance and Leave record)
  • Serve as point of contact with employees and employer; Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job vacancies in job portals, identifying candidates, performing reference checks, scheduling interviews, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Perform orientations and update records (Personal files) of new staff.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
  • Assist with performance management procedures.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc)
  • Setting up / Updating / Forward email addresses for new employees and resigned employees.
  • The Standard Operating Procedures within departments are performed in a good manner.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in human resources or related
  • Language proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin and Tamil is a plus point.
  • Good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication and written skills
  • 1 year of experience as an HR assistant
  • Exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Have valid driving license
