Job Summary

The FFG Organisation Design squad are expanding to hire a high calibre HR Business Analyst to join the bank’s flagship programme supporting strategic organisation design change within Technology and Operations. The Fit for Growth (FFG) programme is designed to build efficiency, effectiveness and opportunities across the organisation by streamlining the way our organisation is structured, the tools and platforms we leverage, ensuring our processes are efficient and adaptable whilst simplifying our vendor and supplier landscape.

The Business Analyst will work as an integral part of the FFG OD squad within HR and closely with the Solution Architect to ensure Organisation design principles and strategy are effectively solutioned into tangible outcomes for the stakeholder groups to drive the business forward. They will design, align and execute solutions for organisation change that will drive the business forward, working across a complex set of requirements and diverse stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing the requirements and solution stories for MT-1s and ensuring they build together into a structured functional design, leveraging the OD team, existing principles and new ways of working.
  • Solutioning options and ways forward, leveraging data to ensure proposals are tested against existing opportunities and balanced to reflect how they can impact the function.
  • Calling out risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, elevating challenged early to ensure mitigation can be put in place.
  • Building the link with the various control towers and sharing insight and direction as required.
  • Manage common/conflicting requirements across stakeholders to drive at a common ground.
  • Align with the existing headcount planning processes, linking with new tooling (SAC), process alignment and owners to ensure ongoing cohesion with the evolving landscape.
  • Be able to confidently navigate the HR structures as well as the customer/stakeholder groups to achieve the strategic objectives.
  • Navigate with Bank tools e.g. Clarity, SAGE, etc. to extract data and perform data analysis for reporting on benefits delivery, spending etc.
  • Support the development of FFG OD Business Case and quarterly review meetings with FFG Control Tower.
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 6+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within global transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge and expertise of HR as a domain, ideally understanding of generalist and specialist delivery.
  • Prior experience of tools such as Clarity, ADO and SAGE.
  • Prior experience of working across a global team, with multiple stakeholders in different locations and across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Proven track record of delivering design/solutions as part of global transformation programmes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, along with strong stakeholder management ability in handling wide ranging and senior stakeholders (across segments/product areas).
  • Proven ability to perform under a high pressure and dynamic environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of a diverse, global organisation.
