Job description

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Associate to support our growing Human Resources function, with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving the organisation’s hiring efforts by identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent. Working closely with HR Partners and Hiring Managers, you will implement recruitment strategies and engage in proactive sourcing to maintain a strong and diverse candidate pipeline across all levels and functions. You will also contribute to strengthening our employer brand through engaging content and campaigns that showcase our culture.

Beyond recruitment, you will support employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace experience and culture. In addition, you will assist in core HR operations including documentation, records management, reporting, and supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.

This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

Talent Acquisition

  • Proactively source and engage potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates to support ongoing and future hiring needs.
  • Continuously build and manage talent pipelines for high-priority or frequently recruited roles (evergreen positions) to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates to meet organisational demand and reduce time-to-fill metrics.
  • Create, update, and maintain job postings across all relevant platforms.
  • Ensure all job descriptions and postings are accurate, up to date, and consistently aligned with current role requirements and organisational needs across all platforms.
  • Partner with HR Partners and Hiring Managers to stay aligned on current and upcoming hiring needs, role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and recruitment timelines to ensure efficient and targeted talent acquisition efforts.

Employer Branding

  • Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Create content (e.g. employee stories, videos, social media posts) to showcase company culture.
  • Monitor employer brand perception and propose ideas to enhance the candidate experience.

Employee Engagement

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of employee engagement activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate internal communication related to engagement activities, events, and surveys.
  • Collect and analyze employee feedback to support continuous improvement in engagement programs.

Other

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in HR reporting and data analysis related to talent and engagement metrics.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with other HR team members.

The Successful Candidate Should Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of recruitment experience, either in-house or within an agency setting.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume hiring across diverse functional areas.
  • Experience in the media industry is a strong advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to connect with candidates and provide them with the best advice throughout the hiring process.
  • Confidence to interface with all levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • A positive mindset and can-do attitude, even in the face of challenges.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
