Job description

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR within the organization (around 600+ headcounts).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and Malaysia’s labor market trends.
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives to address business needs.
  • Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures in line with Malaysian legislation and company objectives.
  • Regularly update the employee handbook to reflect changes in Malaysia's labour laws and company practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Oversee recruitment processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent in Malaysia.
  • Strengthen employer branding to position the company as an employer of choice in Malaysia.
  • Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage payroll processes, leave administration, and other operational HR functions.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of salary structures to maintain competitiveness.
  • Lead performance appraisal processes, set KPIs, and ensure regular feedback cycles.
  • Drive initiatives to foster a high-performance culture and employee engagement.
  • Oversee HRIS systems for efficient employee data management and reporting.
  • Manage HR operational functions such as leave administration, employee records, and disciplinary documentation.

Job requirements

  • Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in managing full spectrum of HR, including 5 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in construction or quarry industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations (e.g., Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous, responsible person and have strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be willing to work in Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
