We are currently looking for a Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR within the organization (around 600+ headcounts).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and Malaysia’s labor market trends.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives to address business needs.
- Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures in line with Malaysian legislation and company objectives.
- Regularly update the employee handbook to reflect changes in Malaysia's labour laws and company practices.
- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and employment regulations.
- Oversee recruitment processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent in Malaysia.
- Strengthen employer branding to position the company as an employer of choice in Malaysia.
- Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage payroll processes, leave administration, and other operational HR functions.
- Conduct periodic reviews of salary structures to maintain competitiveness.
- Lead performance appraisal processes, set KPIs, and ensure regular feedback cycles.
- Drive initiatives to foster a high-performance culture and employee engagement.
- Oversee HRIS systems for efficient employee data management and reporting.
- Manage HR operational functions such as leave administration, employee records, and disciplinary documentation.
Job requirements
- Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in managing full spectrum of HR, including 5 years in a managerial role
- Experience in construction or quarry industry is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations (e.g., Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous, responsible person and have strong sense of urgency.
- Must be willing to work in Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
