Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. The role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings and interviews to onboarding and orientation. You will assist in HR documentation, including employment letters, warning letters, and termination notices, while ensuring compliance with local labor regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the recruitment process, including job advertisement posting, shortlisting, interview arrangements, offers, and onboarding, including conducting induction/orientation for new joiners.
  2. Assist in issuing warning letters, termination letters, and other HR documents.
  3. Keep track of staff confirmations, monitor staff contracts, warning letters, termination letters, and other employment-related due dates; prepare HR-related letters.
  4. Maintain HR documentation and filing; issue relevant HR correspondence letters.
  5. Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with the company’s business plan and policies.
  6. Assist in ensuring HR policies comply with local labor regulations.
  7. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
Position Specifications:
  • At least a Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other statutory acts.
  • Excellent oral, written, and personal communication skills.
  • Effective communication with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Own transportation, as travel to relevant departments and sites may be required.
