Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate HR professional to support People Leaders and colleagues in driving the Bank’s people priorities. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in enabling leadership capability, talent development, and an enhanced colleague experience through critical advisory interactions.

About HR Advisory:

HR Advisory is central to Standard Chartered’s people agenda, delivering impactful support that strengthens leadership effectiveness, builds a high-performance culture, and enhances the overall colleague experience. The team collaborates closely with People Leaders, CoEs, and Business/Cluster teams to drive strategic HR initiatives aligned to the People Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support People Leaders with advisory services across talent management, performance conversations, and employee development.
  • Partner with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and business clusters to deliver HR initiatives and people strategies.
  • Proactively identify recurring people challenges and escalate them to Cluster Leads for intervention.
  • Facilitate differentiated career experiences for high-potential talent through development planning.
  • Execute scalable HR programmes and initiatives in alignment with the People Plan.
  • Ensure effective communication and adoption of HR policies and processes across clusters.
  • Monitor performance and contribute to continuous improvement of HR advisory processes.
Skills and Experience
  • Strong HR advisory and stakeholder management experience.
  • Knowledge of continuous performance management, talent management, and employee development.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex people situations with professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in HR analytics and reporting.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Professional certification in HR (desirable).
