Job description

We're Hiring: HR/Admin Executive (Remote | Nightlife Industry Expansion in Johor Bahru)

We are an established nightlife entertainment company based in Singapore, and we’re excited to announce our expansion into Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Our newest nightclub is located near KSL Mall and is currently undergoing renovation, with an official launch planned for end of July.

Although the club operates on-site, this position is offered as a remote role, ideal for experienced candidates who prefer flexible working arrangements.

Work Hours: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Remote)
Work Style: Fully Remote (Malaysia-based preferred for statutory compliance)

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing monthly staff payroll (salary, EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
  • Maintaining and updating employee records, contracts, and attendance
  • Managing onboarding and exit processes
  • Coordinating shift schedules and leave applications
  • Liaising with local suppliers and assisting with procurement
  • Ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws and HR policies
  • Providing administrative support to the management team

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in HR and admin (nightlife or F&B background is an advantage)
  • Solid understanding of Malaysian statutory contributions and labor laws
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Basic Chinese language skills are a plus
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of remote collaboration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
