HR & Admin Manager | Up to 11K | Tebrau Johor

We are seeking a hands-on and experiencedHR & Admin Managerto lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources and Administration functions for our growing organization. This role is critical to ensuring efficient HR operations, supporting strategic goals, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management

Oversee the full HR spectrum, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, leave, and statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN).

Manage compensation and benefits programs, performance appraisal cycles, employee engagement activities, staff insurance and claims.

Design and manage employee incentive structures to support performance and retention.

Lead talent acquisition strategies to meet operational needs across outlets and HQ.

Drive training and development initiatives to build workforce capability.

Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary processes.

Develop and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and the employee handbook.

Ensure HR operations comply with labour laws and regulatory requirements.

Strategic & Reporting

Provide HR insights and updates to the CEO; prepare HR papers for quarterly Board of Directors meetings.

Monitor and manage the HR departmental budget and manpower planning.

Participate in HOD meetings, take minutes, and support cross-functional collaboration.

Propose and track cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Administration & IT

Supervise general office administration and maintenance.

Oversee outsourced IT services and manage IT asset tracking and usage.

Manage company contractors and service providers (e.g., cleaning, pest control, hygiene, water supply).

Monitor company vehicle road tax renewals, services, and repairs.

Corporate Activities

Plan and manage company events, staff engagement programs, and welfare initiatives.

Serve as ESG Officer and support corporate governance, sustainability, and social responsibility efforts.

Assist in ad hoc projects or assignments by top management (e.g., government applications, crisis response, etc.).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Preferred Mandarin, or Hokkien or Cantonese speaker to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Hokkien/Cantonese -speaking clients.

Experience in F&B, retail, or fast-paced industries is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, HR practices, and payroll systems.

Proven experience in designing and administering incentive structures.

Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and HRMS platforms.
