Job description

Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.

Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

Coordinate performance management processes, including appraisals, training, and development programs.

Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, payroll processing, and statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS).

2. Administrative Management:

Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions, including office maintenance, facility management, and procurement of office supplies.

Ensure smooth operation of administrative systems, including IT support coordination and document management.

Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace.

3. Training and Development:

Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

Manage training records and ensure alignment with company and regulatory requirements.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with employment laws, occupational safety standards, and food industry-specific regulations.

Prepare and submit required HR and admin reports to management and regulatory authorities.

5. Employee Engagement:

Plan and execute employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture.

Manage communication channels to ensure transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

6. Other Supports:

Provide support in strategic planning, policy review, and decision-making processes.

Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for HR and administrative expenses.

7. Project and Change Management:

Assist in managing HR and administrative projects, such as system upgrades or organizational changes.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize HR and administrative processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

o Minimum 10 years of experience in HR and administration, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

o Experience in the food manufacturing industry is an advantage.

Skills:

o Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices.

o Proficiency in HR software (e.g., payroll systems, HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
