Job summary

A leading company in Malaysia is looking for an HR Manager to manage various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree in HR Management with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, be proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Managing the full spectrum of the Human Resources department, including but not limited to Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development, Employee Relations, and Industrial Relations.

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Coordinate recruitment activities, including job posting, sourcing candidates, interviewing, and onboarding procedures.

Prepare, administer, and update records of employment contracts, confirmations, employee movements, and leaves.

Liaise with government bodies (e.g., KWSP, PERKESO, LHDN, CIDB).

Coordinate the performance appraisal system for employees.

Provide HR-related reports as required.

Support general office administrative tasks (office equipment & asset management, vehicle maintenance, and repairs).

Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience; development field experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Relations practices, Labour Law, and latest government regulations.
  • Experience with SQL Payroll system is preferred.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both written and verbal, to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Willing to be based in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm; Saturday (alternate), 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
