Job summary

A leading HR consultancy in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Human Resources and Administration Executive to manage recruitment and payroll operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with labor laws, maintaining employee records, and facilitating staff engagement activities. Ideal candidates will have a degree in HR management and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position.

Qualifications

To manage the full recruitment cycle and payroll processing, while also supporting general HR and administrative tasks to ensure smooth internal operations and compliance with employment regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  2. Handle end-to-end recruitment: job posting, screening, interviewing, and executing hiring process.
  3. Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  4. Manage job postings on portals, career sites, and social media.
  5. Participate in career fairs, job expos, and campus recruitment drives.
  6. Arrange interviews and prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation.
  7. Maintain and update the recruitment database and track hiring metrics.
  1. Payroll Administration
  2. Process monthly payroll including salary, allowances, deductions, overtime, and statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS, tax).
  3. Ensure timely submission of payroll-related reports for approval and statutory bodies in compliance with the governed laws.
  4. Handle employee claims, benefits, in compliance with company policies and labor laws.

  2. Maintain accurate attendance and leave records (e.g., annual leave, sick leave, emergency leave).
  3. Track probationary reviews, contract renewals, and performance appraisals.
  4. Support employee engagement activities and HR policy implementation.
  5. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as delegated by the superior.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR, with hands-on exposure to recruitment and payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • Familiar with HR systems and payroll software, ideally Boss Net payroll system.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
