Job Description
Oversees the human resources department and ensures the functions and tasks being carried out by the HR team.
Provides consultation on strategic planning with top management to recruit, interview, and hire new staff.
Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Involved in continuously updating employment terms and sources of labour supply and developing a recruitment strategy to ensure the availability of cost-effective foreign workers in meeting the company's manpower needs.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements (JTK, KDN, JKKP, Bomba, Majlis, etc.), conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organisation at hearings.
Understands the training needs of employees of various positions throughout the organization, proposing and coordinating training and development programs, including programs under the government-mandated HRDF.
Handles employee-related services, regulatory compliance, and employee relations.
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current records.
Job Requirement
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management.
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a Manufacturing Environment/Foreign Workers Management.
Required Skills: Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, employee relations, and preparation of HR policy drafting and procedure.
Experience in HR and administration, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
Good analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
Great organizational skills, systematic thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Required Language: Mandarin & English
