Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detailed and service-driven Housekeeping Coordinator to support daily operations at our luxury property. You will coordinate room status, communicate with Front Office and other departments, and help maintain essential records to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong organizational skills, fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and the ability to work rotating shifts to deliver exceptional service in a bustling five‑star environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or coordinating roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and communicate room status and operational updates to relevant colleagues and departments.
• Handle guest requests and internal communications promptly and professionally.
• Record, follow up, and coordinate guest requests related to housekeeping, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of room status, housekeeping activities, maintenance requests, lost and found items, and other departmental documentation.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, Guest Services, and other departments to ensure efficient guest service and room readiness.
• Monitor and follow up on room discrepancies, out-of-order rooms, special requests, VIP arrangements, and priority rooms.
• Assist in preparing daily reports, assignments, checklists, and other departmental documents.
• Support supervisors and managers with administrative duties and daily operational requirements.

Housekeeping Coordinator

The Housekeeping Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Housekeeping Department, ensuring effective communication and coordination between housekeeping colleagues, other hotel departments, and guests. The position is responsible for coordinating room and housekeeping requests, maintaining accurate records, handling communications, and supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the department while delivering Four Seasons standards of service.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and communicate room status and operational updates to relevant colleagues and departments.
• Handle telephone calls, guest requests, and internal communications promptly and professionally.
• Record, follow up, and coordinate guest requests related to housekeeping, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of room status, housekeeping activities, maintenance requests, lost and found items, and other departmental documentation.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, Guest Services, and other departments to ensure efficient guest service and room readiness.
• Monitor and follow up on room discrepancies, out-of-order rooms, special requests, VIP arrangements, and priority rooms.
• Assist in preparing daily reports, assignments, checklists, and other departmental documents.
• Support supervisors and managers with administrative duties and daily operational requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of lost and found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and departmental records.
• Ensure the Housekeeping office and work areas are organized and maintained to professional standards.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, health and safety standards, and Four Seasons service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the housekeeping management team.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a hotel Housekeeping Department or a similar coordination/administrative role is preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working with hotel systems.
• Professional, courteous, and service‑oriented personality.
• Able to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
