Job summary

Salient Glory City Sdn Bhd – George Town, Penang is seeking hotel housekeeping staff for public area duties. The role focuses on promoting a genuine, welcoming atmosphere for all hotel patrons and being knowledgeable about all hotel outlets, facilities and hours to upsell where appropriate.

Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor/housekeeper, including reporting lost property. You will clean and maintain all public areas, vacuum carpets, dust and polish furniture, sweep and mop

Responsibilities

• Promote a genuine, helpful and welcoming atmosphere for all Hotel patrons.
• Be well versed in all Hotel outlets, facilities and hours and endeavor to up sell such.
• Perform any other duties as may be required by the supervisor/Housekeeper.
• Report lost property immediately to supervisor.
• Clean all assigned areas and maintain them in good order.
• Vacuum carpets and empty all ashtrays and waste bins as often as necessary.
• Polish and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop and polish floors.
• Clean walls and ceiling.
• Clean mirrors and windows.
• Clean lockers and toilets.
• Keep the trolleys and all operating equipment in a neat and orderly condition.
