About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to lead our team at De Hotel Ipoh in Ipoh, Perak. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving the financial success of the hotel. This is a full-time position based at our hotel in Ipoh.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
2. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve hotel performance and achieve financial targets
3. Ensure consistently high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction
4. Manage and develop a team of hotel staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management
5. Monitor and control hotel budgets, expenses, and revenue
6. Liaise with various stakeholders, including owners, suppliers, and local authorities
7. Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance the hotel's market position and competitiveness
8. Ensure the hotel operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in a hotel management role, preferably in a similar size and type of hotel
• Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations, achieving financial targets, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization
• Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry, trends, and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in hotel management, hospitality, or a related field
