Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled hotel maintenance professional to join our Engineering & Facilities team. You will respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and manage building systems with minimal supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with vocational background, at least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and Universal CFC certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical background preferred.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment; inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Train and mentor other engineers; perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities; ensure safety and energy management protocols are followed.
