Job summary
A local hotel is seeking a front desk staff member to manage reservations and guest services. Responsibilities include handling check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest complaints, managing payments, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance. Ideal candidates should have prior hospitality experience and flexibility to work shifts.

- Experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts required.
Responsibilities
- Familiarise with the hotel system to make reservations and perform check-in/check-out.
- Handle various forms of guest complaints with a professional manner.
- Collect payments and handle different forms of payments.
- Responsible for cash balance before and after shifts.
- Work shifts including morning, afternoon, and night.
- Amend online room rates and allotments for online bookings.
- Attend to guest needs promptly.
- Communicate with the housekeeping team.
- Report room issues to maintenance.
- Order products needed for daily operations.
Responsibilities

- Collect payments and handle different forms of payments (cash, debit card, credit card, virtual credit card, etc).
- Employees are required to be responsible for cash balance before and after their shift.
- Employees are required to be able to work shifts (morning, afternoon, & night).
- Amend online room rates and allotments for online bookings.
- Attend to the guest needs when needed to.
- Work closely with housekeeping team to communicate clean and dirty rooms.
- Work closely with maintenance to report room issues.
- Contact suppliers to order products needed for daily operations. For example, mineral water bottles or tissue rolls.
