Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a Nursing Attendant to provide basic care and support within the nursing team. You will assist with patient transport, hygiene, stock management, and assist nurses during procedures, under supervision.

The role requires good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, a willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and a commitment to patient safety and cleanliness in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia
• Certified healthcare assistants would be a priority.
• Experience working in a hospital setting is an advantage
• Able to converse fluently and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care in accordance with established standards, work collaboratively with team members, and report incidents to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Perform cleaning and hygiene tasks, sanitizing trolleys, lamps, walls, and equipment as required.
• Receive patients, transport to preparation area, assist until checked by the registered nurse, and help with procedures as needed.
• Assist nurses in transporting patients to wards and support with safety, comfort, and monitoring.

Education

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia

Certified healthcare assistants preferred
