Job summary

Columbia Asia Group of hospitals in Malaysia is seeking a Billing Clerk to manage cashiering and related duties, ensuring accurate charges and timely billing for patients.

You will follow accounting policies, keep cashier areas organized, and assist in stock takes and department maintenance.

Shift-based schedule and English/Bahasa Malaysia proficiency are required, with 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to patients and relatives ensuring comfort and minimal waiting time for services.
• Perform duties in accordance with Accounting Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure cashier counters and waiting areas are organized and well-kept.
• Sort, code, alphabetize and verify bills, charge slips and receipts.
• Assist in stock taking and other required exercises.
• Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
• Attend meetings as directed by management.
• Ensure daily and monthly activities meet reporting requirements and input orders promptly.
