- Coordinate and supervise all engineering activities related to Hook-up
- Provide Hook-up expertise during bid phase, project preparatory phases, and execution phase for all engineering activities related to Hook-up
- Perform technical tasks related with drawings / BQ / job cards preparation, constructability reviews, study activities, etc.
- Participate in the preparation of multi-disciplinary Hook-up procedures
- Oversee the engineering of piping and ducting connections between production machines and facility utility systems
- Ensure through dedicated surveys that vessels are suitable to perform safely and efficiently support activities for the Hook-up campaign, guaranteeing steady manpower and materials supply on site
- Propose engineering solutions to identify optimized configurations for transportation and installation, minimizing Hook-ups and optimizing construction sequences and methodology at Site
- Provide Hook-up inputs to engineering reviews (Constructability, 3D model)
- Participate in the execution of the Hook-up engineering, including identification of multidisciplinary activities, preparation of procedures, and assembling project documentation in disciplines Work Packages
- Liaise with Hook-up Planning and Control Analyst to set up Hook-up Job Cards based on scope of work and in accordance with the plans for construction, installation, and commissioning
- Elaborate Hook-up project deliverables and ensure documents and procedures are developed and issued accordingly
- Define the preparation of Subcontracts scopes and Technical Bid Evaluations related to Hook-up activities
- Ensure correct interfaces with other project functions during Hook-up engineering activities
- Prepare Final As-Built drawings
- Support Project Manager in following up on Hook-up engineering activities
- Supervise analysis of Hook-up requirements related to Welding, Cutting, Painting, Jointing, Coating, and Quality Control activities, including implementation of any special requirements ahead of offshore campaigns
- Identify tasks during installation with the Design team
- Ensure with Clients' design that material and documentation (drawing, installation procedures) are available
- Write or modify technical specifications for offshore hook-up works
- Manage technical clarifications and interfaces for offshore works
- Coordinate risk assessment for hook-up activities
- Complete Inspections and Tests Plans for quality control
- Liaise with logistics for on-site equipment delivery
- Ensure resource availability with the project team to perform tasks
- Liaise with Production, M&E, and Engineering for hookup installation work and machine move-in schedules to avoid downtime, sharing plans at least 1 week ahead
- Verify TUM list for all machines/tools before installation, confirming infrastructure capacity with Project Manager/Consultant
Requirements:
- Degree in a related engineering field
- Experience with facility utilities such as gas, exhaust, or water treatment systems
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with engineers and vendors
- Technical knowledge and experience in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Proficiency in CAD drawing
