Homestay Operation Supervisor

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time Homestay Operation Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of VERANO SDN BHD's portfolio of holiday rental properties in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre area. In this crucial position, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the homestays, liaising with guests, managing the cleaning and maintenance teams, and implementing strategies to enhance the guest experience.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervise the work of the cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all homestays.
2. Act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a consistently exceptional level of customer service.
3. Oversee the changeovers between guest stays, coordinating the cleaning, linen changes and quality checks.
4. Manage the inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
5. Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
6. Provide regular performance feedback and support the development of the operations team.
7. Liaise with the central reservations team to ensure seamless coordination of guest arrivals and departures.
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the homestay offering through guest feedback and industry best practices.

What we're looking for

• With or Without experience in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality or property management industry encouraged to apply.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Familiarity with property maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to work weekends and public holidays as needed.
