Job description

We are looking for Language Interpreters:

Period of Employment:

Permanent / Open to Citizens

Working Hours:

40 hours per week, based on schedule, including permanent night shifts

Work Station:

Work from home

Responsibilities:

• Answer calls promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner.
• Render accurate concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions.
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout the call.
• Be punctual and available during scheduled work hours.
• Follow client instructions and protocol to meet client expectations with LEP (Limited English Proficiency) individuals, avoiding interaction without client permission.
• Perform interpretation only (English to native language and vice versa).

Requirements:

• Excellent command of English and fluent in the respective native language (reading and writing).
• Nationals or permanent residents with sound language knowledge.
• Work from home for 9 hours as per the client's schedule, shifts between 8 pm – 8 am Malaysia Time (including 1-hour break).
• Own a stable home internet connection (minimum 10MB download, 5MB upload).
• Own a mobile phone with Android Version 6+ or iOS 12+.
• Willing to work permanent night shifts, including public holidays and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: RM 30 per hour, approximately RM 4800 per month.
• Benefits include: 12 days annual leave, MC + hospitalization leave, medical coverage, and insurance.
• Entitled to 2 days off per week, rotating any day.
• Public holidays and off days aligned with the served country (US).
• Paid replacement leaves.
