Job summary

A leading content marketing agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a content team lead with a strong background in project management and content marketing. The successful candidate will manage a content team, oversee workflow and collaborate with marketing and design teams. Ideal applicants will hold a relevant degree, possess excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, and have 2-3 years of relevant experience. This role is open to Malaysians only and offers a dynamic working environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in project management, product quality control and relationship management.
  • Previous experience in publishing, especially in an editorial or production role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Overview

We are seeking for a creative, experienced and organized content team lead to join our growing team working in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will manage the content team and support other internal teams within marketing department.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned content task(s) to ensure that the task completes on time.
  • Lead, plan, direct and/or coordinate with the entire marketing team, design team and with editors across multiple locations (MY, CN, VN …) on content tasks’ workflow (creating, writing, translating, posting), staffing, timing and quality towards the successful completion of the task.
  • Oversee the content production, brainstorm and collaborate with team for new ideas and content strategies.
  • Create, improve and update multiple tasks planners and trackers, ensure a smooth workflow and increase the productivity of the Content Department.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Content Manager.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or any related field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in project management, product quality control and relationship management.
  • Previous experience in publishing, ideally in an editorial or production role, is an added advantage.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good interpersonal and attention to details.
  • Possess good understanding of content writing and marketing.
  • Preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
  • Open to Malaysian only.
