Eagles Engineers in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HV Electrical Drafter to translate engineer mark-ups into precise AutoCAD drawings for HV primary and secondary systems. You will work with Primary and Secondary Engineers on substation layouts, gear arrangements, earthing, cable routing, and single-line diagrams, ensuring alignment with drawing standards and project delivery timelines.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of drafting experience, preferably HV substations, power transmission/distribution, utilities or electrical infrastructure projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD and reading HV drawings.
Able to read and understand HV primary and secondary engineering drawings, not just reproduce engineer mark-ups.
Able to communicate effectively with Primary and Secondary Engineers and clarify technical requirements when needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare and update HV primary and secondary engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
Work from engineer mark-ups, sketches, existing drawings and technical information to produce accurate drawings.
Read and understand HV primary and secondary drawings and apply engineering changes correctly.
Coordinate with engineers to clarify mark-ups and resolve drawing issues.
Assist with drawing updates throughout design development and project delivery.
