High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HADR) Administrator

Role and Responsibilities:

• Installation/configuration, administration, upgrade, and troubleshooting of tools/scenarios of systems like Application Clusters (Pacemaker, PowerHA Cluster, SIOS, Libelle) and Hyperscaler Tools (AWS EDRS, Azure ASR).
• HA/DR Test planning, coordinating with other teams, and performing failover/failback tasks for the HA/DR tools.
• Providing advice and technical support for pre-sales and architecture team inquiries related to designing HA/DR tools/concepts.
• Project planning for the adaptation or upgrade of SAP and/or IT systems’ HA/DR tools/concepts.
• Managing escalations in case of problems and errors, and managing solutions (technical and organizational).
• Participating in or managing technical focus groups in multidisciplinary cooperation.
• Maintaining complete, transparent, and comprehensible documentation of all work steps, including daily business activities.
• Willingness to conduct professional customer discussions, possibly on-site.

Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with one of these products: Pacemaker Cluster, PowerHA Cluster, Azure ASR, or AWS EDRS.
