Job summary

Businesslist is hiring a Business Development Manager (Healthcare/Medical Products) in Petaling Jaya. You will develop sales strategies, coach the Healthcare team, and expand the product portfolio in the healthcare/medical devices sector.

You will manage key relationships with hospitals, clinics, and resellers, while staying updated on market trends and regulatory developments in Malaysia. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in any Science or Medical related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years in marketing or selling medical devices/healthcare products; at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Good exposure to healthcare procurement (MOH tenders and hospitals).
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies and business plans to meet sales and profit targets.
• Lead, coach and manage Healthcare team to achieve targets and KPIs.
• Identify new opportunities and expand product portfolio in healthcare/medical devices.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics and resellers.
• Act as escalation point for operational and customer issues within Healthcare BU.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulations in healthcare/medical devices in Malaysia.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions and industry events.
