Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and committed Health and Safety Officer to oversee safety operations at our elevator and escalator installation sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Malaysian safety regulations, client requirements, and company safety policies.

Requirements:

• Female
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field
• Valid SHO DOSH or CIDB SSS Certificate preferred; related safety certifications are an advantage
• 1-2 years of experience in elevator/escalator installation or construction safety; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of safety management related to lift and escalator installation works
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety laws
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, report writing)
• Able to work independently, travel to multiple project sites, and work extended hours when necessary
• Ability to work at multiple site locations

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and monitor safety procedures at installation sites
• Conduct site safety inspections and enforce protocols
• Perform daily safety inspections, audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and CIDB regulations
• Prepare and review risk assessments, JSA, and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Lead toolbox meetings and safety inductions
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and records
• Monitor lifting operations, scaffold erection, confined space entry, and electrical works
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports with corrective actions
• Assist in safety submissions for tenders, audits, and approvals
